Thanksgiving

I was able to celebrate my first Thanksgiving in Asia Pacific with some fabulous friends. Since we had class on Thursday and Friday we decided to celebrate the Saturday after Thanksgiving with a feast and lots of fun.
In order to get all our delicious goodies to our friends house I put everything in our laundry basket and then we drove over on the bike. I am as far back as I can go and poor Kat's knees had to be smashed into the front of the bike.

Then our friends pulled up with their laundry basket, notice that they have a little more room on their bike.
Our beautiful Thanksgiving table, where much food was consumed and many laughs were shared.
Welcome to Thanksgiving in Asia Pacific where the coolest place in the house is the bathroom. Lucky for us it was right off the kitchen so we could still get in on the preparations. =)

Thanks to Justin and the guys we had a delicious fried turkey!!

Frying a turkey in here requires a rain shelter, because you never know when it's going to rain. Good thing the guys were prepared because we needed it!

Mike carving the turkey . . . looks good doesn't it!?!?

Courtney buttering her aunts famous rolls . . . YUMMY!!

Thanksgiving = Pie
Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin, Mango, Brownies, and Apple

All the lovely ladies and delicious desserts. That is a lot of sweetness right there!!
