When I came to Asia Pacific I brought with me 1 Christmas mug and a stocking that my aunt had made me. This helped start the Christmas cheer and slowly our house began to look like Christmas as people sent us things in packages and we bought a few Christmas things.

Starry night . . . the stars on the curtain were made by women here displaced by Merapi as a way to make a little income.
