When My Friend Comes to Play

Our little neighbor boy is a funny little kid.  When we first got here he was shy and wouldn’t talk to us at all.  Over the past months he has gotten a little bolder in talking to us and hanging out with us.  This last week he has become super bold and often comes over to ask if he can play.  He knows where the drawer of toys is and  heads straight for it to pick out what he wants to play with.  Tonight he came over and we hung out on the extra bed drawing pictures.  Usually his pictures are small blobs of nothingness, but he tells me what they are so that I’m informed. =)  His favorite thing to draw is a fish.  I ask him what he drew and he will respond that he drew “ikan”.  He is super cute and I’m happy to play with him for a bit and give his mom a little break.
