Learning to Cook . . . Asian Style

A couple weeks ago we spent a morning learning how to cooking an Asian Pacific meal. Our neighbors came over to our house and we went to work, preparing, cooking, and of course eating. At some point during the morning our water stopped working so we even had to wash our dishes behind the house in buckets of water. It was a great day learning and hanging out with our neighbors.

First step, cleaning and washing out the insides of our fish. Cleaned and ready to fry!

Preparing greens, garlic and onions . . . and yes that is our kitchen floor. =D

While everyone else was preparing food, Huda and I were taking pictures . . . I did help, I just didn't have a job at this moment.

One of my jobs was to help fry the fish. This is my fish frying teacher and I with the finished product.

We sat down to enjoy a delicious meal of fried noodles, rice, coconut fish soup, fried fish and cooked greens. Enak sekali! (Very Delicious!)
