The morning of our first day of VBS dawned bright and clear, the day that so many of us had been planning and preparing for had finally come. We all thought that if we had 35-50 kids we would be doing good, but we were trusting that just the right ones would be there. By 9 o'clock we still had people out the doors waiting to register, finally everyone was through and we counted the registrations . . . 75!! WOW, we were totally blown away, how awesome was that?!?! The next 3 days I think we had an average of about 82, sometimes it was a little hard to count. =) For 4 days I got to share with kids of all ages about Asia Pacific and it was a blast!! I was amazed at how much the kids remembered and I'm still hearing feedback from parents about what their kids now know. It was a great reminder that nothing is too big or too small.
