Cuddles and Hugs

Last week I was able to spend 4 fun filled days with a number of really great friends and it was fabulous! I was particularly able to spend several hours with 5 precious little friends all under the age of 6 where cuddles, hugs, stories and pretending abounded. The imaginations of children never cease to amaze me, they can take the simplest things and turn them into complex scenarios of play, it really is great! These are some of my friends that will change the most over the next couple of years. No longer will two or three fit in my lap in order to hear a made up story about Buggy Buggy the snail, they will grow up and maybe not even remember Buggy Buggy. As I held and loved my little kiddos I wanted to cry, I'll miss their chatter, stories, and imaginations, but I know that they will always be my precious little friends and that fills my heart with joy. I also know that I will have other little kiddos climbing into my lap and sharing their hugs and maybe they too will want to hear about the adventures of Buggy Buggy the snail.
